This thread is brutal.

I didn't think his self portrait was that bad. Far better than I could do.

Golden PS work though. :olo:

Actually sys0p's was the only one that was really funny, when threads like this become a rush to photoshop the image in the stupidest places instead of just clowning Zerofactor, they get pretty gay

sys0p's was good too, but brisk did some good work without getting lame. That's why I didn't bother, it would just be a halfassed bandwagon attempt anyway. :)

I won't even bother posting anything from any of the other lessons if no one on this message board can grasp the fact that it's a lesson, I'm not even using the skills I normally do, just doing what the book says. I don't know how many times I have to explain this but, I didn't ask for commentary, I was just sharing the first lesson. I thought the person who recommended the book to me might like to see what the first lesson is made up of. But oh well, this thread has been gheyed to the 100th power.

Unless Lesson 2 is "how to unfuck your work", I think its a good idea.

Zerofactor wrote:Ok. So Betty Edwards' book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" says for the first lesson, to draw a self portrait. Here it is:

I'm supposed to keep this and see how much I've advanced when I finish the book. I think it looks alright.

Imagine the horror zeroskill would unleash if he didn't have a mirror or photoshop to correct his wonky eyes... lesson 2 sounds like a recipe for disaster.
