i got invincibility and ended up picking 2 red bonuses that made my square bigger. By the end of it, my square was bigger than the entire screen - usually a handicap - but in this case it allowed me to soak in an incredible amount of squares.

red bonus appears at 22 seconds
black at 39
red at 50
black at 1:16
red at 1:18
red at 1:46
black at 2min
red at 2:12
red (or black i can't remember) at 2:38
black at 2:39

this is my strategy - get to a decently high score and then pray for invulnerability - grab as many blacks as you can - once your square becomes large enough to fill the entire screen, you'll rack up a couple hundred points in seconds.

Bloody hell! You really are an addict! I'll give your strategy a go in a minute!

So far I have:

Squares: 113
Score: 12223

I had one go where I tried just wracking up a score by hanging about and letting the automatic time score add up, it was boring as hell and didn't get me many points. The only way to get points was by collecting the black bonuses and hoping for a 1000 point bonus

However I did end up with an absolutely tiny square, so maybe that's a good starting off strategy. Wait around for about 4 minutes and achieve a tiny square, then go for it!

edit: Also, I don't know if your times for bonus squares are always the same... wouldn't the frequency of them depend on how many squares you had, and hence the speed they spawn at?

Best chance of getting a high score is by getting a couple of shrink square bonuses to start with then an invinsibility just as it's getting crazy.

I can't believe I'm getting paid to play this game.
