perhaps you didn't take the time to appreciate the subtleties...

it's not a point and click adventure and there is no punchline - it's just a form of art.

and... as it suggests... it's meant to be watched in the middle of the night with lights off for its effect.

i loved the cemetery scene the best - really eerie when you move your mouse over the graves.

the whole style - it's dark yet peaceful, eerie yet it isn't disturbing. Almost like a nightmare on ecstasy

lovely music too at the end.

btw it seems that the site i posted is just an older version of the one you just posted - tx for the link, it'll probably last longer than geocities

edit: some differences - e.g. the maco lights isn't linked from the darkarts site - only in the geocities one, though it's hosted on the darkarts site.

yea its charm, but like most " dark" things it tries to hard. There was some peaceful moments lie the skellies and the music, kinda a feeling of its ok to be on the darkside.

I think thats really a misunderstood entity in life. Just cause people exist in the darkness of life, doesnt mean they are evil, there is wonderful things in the dark just like the light, there is horrible things in the light, just like the dark. This kinda thing is associated with satan and things like that so fast that you dont get a chance to see the beauty.

For example :

Through one perspective, this is a evil image of a skeleton beckoning you to the darkness to steal your soul, enticing you with the wonders that your heart posess in the form of wonderous landscapes and peacefulness, only to trick you.

On the other hand one might see a reflection of life and the beyond, a doorway out of one perspective and into another. No evil, no good, just the reflection of a choice.

Perspective is such a powerful entity in human existence.

But anyway, i dug the link, it was kinda neat.

Yeah I think the banshee movie is one of the better ones. ...I do wish I could find more web sites like this but I dont really know where to look.

Short films and Flash movies. -besides 'newground' material.
