American Beauty.
I was expecting a lot more from Alan Ball really, bit of a let down.

Play It To The Bone
Pretty worthless except for one quote:
If a man builds a thousand bridges and sucks one dick, they don't call him a bridge-builder... they call him a cocksucker.
Superb

Collateral - 8.5/10
Something about it was very cool. Great performance from Cruise and Foxx.
p.s. what was it about the wolf that walked across the street?

Its symbolic, stands for Vincent. Hence the grey hair/suit/, also, he too is a predator.

heh, i was reading some comments in the IMDB forums about this scene. "It is shocking for Vincent that Max stops the car for the coyotes, cause he can't understand how someone like Max respects life instead of making roadkill of the coyotes".
I guess you can interpret this scene in many ways.

He gives his characters something extra. maybe that hidden gayness that's brooding inside him.

Went to see Land of the Dead this weekend, was pretty entertaining. As far as zombie flicks go, it was good, with lots and lots of really explicit gore, which is good :icon25:

Going to go see The Cave later tonight... first teaser of it made me think of The Descent by Jeff Long.

I don't think Cruise is a repressed fag. He's way to much of an alpha male ...

Red Eye: An hour and ten fucking minutes is no length for a film, especially if the film isn't that good.

When I first saw trailers for Collateral I thought I was a trailer for a new GTA-king of game thing. I really like the movie. Very relaxed feel to it. And good acting.

Very true. Just like Travolta. But they have done some great movies, so I'll let it pass.

I thought it ripped off Mean Machine, but isn't it a remake of a 70's version?
Or is it a remake of the story while all the jokes are ripped off from Mean Machine like I saw in the trailer?

Transporter 2 - The Mission
If you're slightly retarded, you'll LOVE this film.
If you can at least fake being retarded for 2 hours, then you still have a decent chance of enjoying it.
5/10
Edit:
But that chick is smoking hot for some reason. And by "some reason", I don't mean her breasts.

I thought Transporter 2 was as bad as The Transporter. Ok to watch if you have nothing else to do while eating or if you're bored.

I saw Speed II: Cruise Control on TV a couple of days ago. Gives you a whole new perspective on what's shitty and what's not. I bet Transporter 2 would seem like fucking Citizen Kane in comparison
Speed II: Cruise Control - 1/10 - complete and utter shitfest

Fucking hilarious. Kenneth Branagh in that film is nothing short of fantastic. Smith and Kline are great also.
I know a good film for me when I can watch it 5 times in a row and not get bored of it.
