Any of you run your own business and/or make money outside of the standard 9 to 5 job? Just curious... been contemplating how I could do something like that for years now (recently more than ever). I was thinking bookshop or making great art or something.

Yes I do actually, I got a call from a large company that saw my webbie and they want me to some some work for them. (not web design obviously, but some drawings)

What do you mean make it? Redesign the website? I could possibly do it but I would require pay.
Ok, how much?
I've only done personal sites for myself, I'm not really the best person for what your looking for. I suggest you get a pro if you want to make it look good. I think the normal is $500-$1000 for a full site redesign.
Ok will do, if I had actually had someone ask me to do a site for them I would call on someone else to do it. I have a few ppl in mind for that. Always looking for more talent.
denzii, your job isn't really what you would call "an inspiration" to me... I already do drafting full-time. Perhaps if I was doing it myself, on my own kinda thing... it would be different.

denzii: Isn't it a pain trying to figure out everyone's different standards for every single project? If you work somewhere doing drafting... it's always the same.
