30 Minute Detroit/Techno Mix

Post by brisk »

I created this mix to listen on the bus to uni (which takes about 30 mins strangely enough), but I realise theres a few people at this forum who like similar stuff, so i've uploaded it for your pleasure.

Download (33.5mb/160kbps LAME CBR)

Tracklisting:

01. Kaito - Release Your Body
02. 69 - Rock The Box (Heavyweight)
03. Paperclip People - Throw
04. Baby Ford - Plaza
05. Robert Hood - The Wire
06. Murmor - Taproot
07. Mathew Jonson - Folding Space
08. Analog Fingerprints - Untitled
09. Stasis - Point of No Return

Blip.

Meh, kinda nice but not nearly grindy and dirty enough for my taste. Bit simplistic as well... could have been techno from the very beginning of the genre. Mind you i saw two DJ's from Detroit once and i thought that was a very very good set - it sounded a bit like this stuff only harder.

There's some sets here, check out Christian Wunsch & Oliver Ho (whilst staying the fuck away from that useless bastard Bart Skills) and tell me what you think.
