Having Trouble Loading Maps.

I keep getting error messages when I try to join any servers. Toaday I had to use PBWEB to update Punkbuster but it went fine with no errors. That is the only thing I have done to my install since the last time I ran Q3. I was able to play then. Any help is appriciated

do you even have that map?

and what error is it giving you?

No. I do not have anything that did not come with the game. The error I keep getting is..

You can get that map in q3wpak4

But if you have nothing but the default maps that came with Q3?

You might want to find the other map packs for Threewave. Which
is what that map pack is from I believe?

The four other map packs are right here :icon10:link to page where the other map packs are

Simply do a find on that page for the following files:

q3wpak0
q3wpak1
q3wpak2
q3wpak3

Doh .. forgot that.

He'll need 1.6 full, 1.6 update, and 1.7 update.

Thanx guys for all the help. I am downloading it all now. I'll post back the results.

I am an old UT CTF player. I have always loved Quake just never played it as much til' now. Been looking for something different. I can't wait for Q4 :icon14:

UT CTF was legendary. Nothing has ever quite topped it in the UT line of games until Onslaught came along.

I help my friend Cain to run a ONS Server. When Q4 comes out we are considering runing a CTF Server for it.

I hope you enjoyed the server any time you played on it. Cain and I really try to keep it cool for everyone to play on. Even kids! I'll pass the 411 to Cain that I found a cool azz Q3 crowd that has played on his server. Feel free to stop by anytime :icon31:

Do you guys have your own server? If not where do most of you all play?

The only time I've ever seen someone from this place play is over at The Lounge. 64.37.227.31:27960

Clan Arena, and an average of 10 peps playing (when I see it anyway)

Very nice place to kill some stress.
