The black hawk is a flying tank and with two engineers repairing it, it almost never goes down.
Its gonna suck when they release a fix for that..
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

Doesn't matter, I'll score with a tank, APC or as commander.

Edit: I like the attack chopper too.

Actually I can't wait. Then you won't have to do that to win on a map. The chopper is just the best way to take alot of spawn points, not the only way. People do it in jeeps and APCs too.

YourGrandpa wrote:It's not just me in that black hawk. I have an entire squad with me. (1) six man squad in a black hawk will win a game and score a shit load of points every time. Especially since we're all on team speak. I'll be the squad leader and medic. We'll have two guys as mechanics, repairing all the time. Two more guys on the guns and another guy as support. Playing like that, it's almost impossible to take that chopper down. I've played entire games without being shot down or having to land, all my guys who get shot out just respawn in the chopper.

Good times...
My clan would own that blackhawk before you knew what hit you.
You obviously have never played an organized bunch or seen us stomp the shit out of countless clans on trinitygames servers.

I'm not saying my guys are even close to the best. But we do have a trinitygames server that you're more than welcome to come by and play on, instead of puffing up your inter-chest here. Walk the walk before you talk the talk. You know what I mean?

I'm noticing that the teamplay is lacking on a lot of servers....

I'm getting better at the basic gameplay as a lone wolf killing people, but it doesn't do much good to do that without a purpose. Seems like it is totally hit or miss to find a server with a team that is using squads in an effective manner.

Yeah, it's tough to keep people together. Everyone wants to run off on their own and almost noone follows orders when you play commander. I think it's going to take awhile for people to get use to the team concept. If they only realized how effective teamwork really is.

All it takes is one TV missile and the chainguns have limited field of movement, making the blackhawk vulnerable from top, bottom, and front to back. :icon32:

tnf try making a squad called "Teamwork", pherhaps that will encourage teamplay among your squad. It wouldn't hurt to also use the voice com.

How soon you forgot that some cunt on your balding clan kicked me because I was single handedly kicking ass, and you were too stupid to know that you can set a server to kick manually by PB :olo:
I'm sorry but you're never gonna taste my lead cowering on your own server.
Do try to venture out where you can't kick clans with too much game for ya.

Was I suppose to remember that? :olo:

Sorry you got kicked, kid. But our sever isn't set to auto admin anything. PB or not.

Go cry to your clan buddies. Maybe they'll buy your "I was kicking ass and got kicked" bullshit. BTW, if you get kicked and come back you get to keep your score.

speaking of vioce comm, my game is buggy for some reason - it drops VOIP support in the middle of the game, every time.

It is there at the start of the game, but midway through it stops working, and if you go back to the menu, you can't even test the microphone...

Here's a noob question -

As a squad leader, how can I access a map to identify targets to defend or move to? The only way I can do it right now is to look ni a general direction and do the "defend here" option...but there has to be a way to do that using the map.

I can't find it though.

Pull down the map.
Right click on area, and a menu pops up. You can give orders to your squad or request things from the Commander (Artillary strike, supply drop, or UAV overflight).

I wish the BF2 code was as polished as Q3. That would kick ass.

Hopefully the next patch will fix a bunch of shit. Although, I don't have any trouble with BF2. It runs like champ for me.

runs great for me except for the VOIP issue...which I think might be fixed now that I've updated my sound drivers on the mobo.

VoIP is sketchy for me too, though. Works sometimes, doesn't others.

I plugged my mic in finally, but haven't bound a key to it yet. A bit lazy. lol
