dual channel ddr question
dual channel ddr question
For dual chan ddr to work, do you actually need dual channel ddr ram? Or will 2 matched dimms work the same?

Assuming the ram on them is the same yes, Well, itll work if the timings are the same too, its just BEST to get real matched ram. :icon32:Tormentius wrote:Two matched sticks will work just as well.

Indeed, and therefore only interesting if you plan on overclocking.
