Help connecting to server

Yea i jsut dled the quake 3 arena demo and when i go to the multiplayer and try to conect to get games i get this everytime-"No response from master server" im connected to internet dsl and went into the settings and made sure everything was right at least i think it is just wandering if anybody knows how i can correct this so that i can play.

You can buy the full retail version of Quake III Arena for around 10 dollars at your local game shop's bargain bin or online. I have not played the demo in a long time, so I don't know if there are still servers up. If there are, I would use the All-Seeing Eye game server browser.

no i know for a fact all the servers still work...because i played it over my buddies house this whole weekend....and then he told me to dl it it and get on so i did and when i tried it said no servers....but he was playing??? I Dled the demo.

like Cooldown said, checkout the 'all seeing eye' game server browser.

it's a lot more useful than the ingame browser.

also, can you connect to other mp games? is it just the q3 demo you're having trouble with?

The game is $10. Do yourself a favor and quit using the demo.

How very nice. demoes use 1.11 or 1.16 I believe. Which are still accesible through the full version.
