I have succeeded in networking and sharing files and printer between my XP Pro d/t and l/t.
Both achieve Web access through a DSL modem and Linksys router to the NIC card on the d/t and thence by wireless to the laptop.
I would like to share games between both PC's so that two people may play interactively using these PC's.
Initially I would like to experiment with the game Quake 111 but have no idea how to set this up.
When playing this game on a single PC , for instance , it is necessary to insert the Quake 111 CD . Do I now require two CD's , one for each machine to play this interactively.
How to link 2 n/w PC's to play Quake 3
I think you mean the game 'Quake 3' version 1.11.
If you update the game with the latest patch (which is version 1.32), you will not require a CD to play the game.
