this release fixes issues with Max Payne 2, Stronghold 2, Prince of Persia, Silent Hunter 3, Dungeon Siege 2 and 3Dmark03.

i remember buying my first ATI built 8500 and i couldnt even install their drivers :olo: :p

Things have changed quite a bit since the 8500, SoM. That was what....4 1/2 years ago?

Still think I'll be switching to nVidia, but my point is those things are all in the past.

i never buy a card on its release day.... i bought one about 2 yrs ago, and had problems, drivers only installed to about 50%, and had problems...

5.8 and 5.9 broke Dawn of War for me, and 5.6 and 5.7 is shit for BF2, let's see if ATI can get their shit together and actually release a set of drivers that let me play my fucking games.

I'm pretty sure I'm going back to nVidia for my next upgrade
