Singleplayer is definitely fun.
Multiplayer though... I'm not feeling it at the moment. I remember playing quake3 MP for the first time... right from the start I was hooked and played for at least six hours straight. It started a crack habit that lasted two years of my life.
But after a few rounds of quake4 MP today, I just wasn't having that much fun, so quit. Reminds me a bit of my experience playing Unreal Tournament, actually.
In some ways I think I got so used to the weapons and physics of quake3 that my mind cannot handle anything different.
Maybe this is a good thing... no crack habit. :icon26:
EDIT: changed title to sound less biased.
So... are you feeling it?
So... are you feeling it?

Keep messing, it comes eventually.
I think there are some tweaks warranted with the first patch. Minor things like reducing the weapon switch slightly (by the time you combo a rail + machine gun in Q4, you've been dead 3 times over).
But I'm getting into it. Hated it at first.
