Some people like OSP CTF. Some people also like Clan Arena without CPMA physics.

Hence, some people like OSP.

Hence, will there not be another OSP for Q4?

There's no reason to get into the old CPMA/OSP debate all over again. Some people don't like CPMA.

excuse me... CPMA was NOT OSP with "improved physics". CPMA changed the physics, and a whole lot of people did not think it was for the best, myself included. I'm sorry if you can't see that...

And FreezeTag... which you CPMA players used to refer to as "silly tag". Which about sums up the general mentality.

It wouldn't be included in CPMA if that was the general mentality (definitely not the mentality of the design team). It's sad enough that CA is included though. :P

Why are you listening to this spamming newb (saying Q4 is a 'sweet' game while he can't even run the game yet :olo:) anyway?

Promode physics are only technically better (like the netcode) because they are much more FPS independant and incredibly smooth (more consistent, no jump height errors, etc). The movement style is just faster and works well for fast paced games on well designed maps. Not everyone likes being able to jump around the map like a ninja though. Just a matter of personal preference.

I noticed in the SP that it seems a lot easier to shoot the enemy than it was in Doom 3. I was playing in the second stage of difficulty to have a look around, and it was more like I would expect of the 1st level of difficulty.
