GMAX is no more

Post by Kat »

Incase the gmax users in here didn't know, Discreet have discontinued the app and as of the end of this month you won't be able to get it at all.

So if you've not activated or downloaded, now would be a good time to do so.

If some of you here want to know registration code for version 1.2, PM me and I'll write down a link to my exported WINDOWS registry file here.
Actually it's for 1.0, but it works on any PC & for any version.

@those in time
done!

@Lenard
No.
There is a hidden bonus for lamers.
I'll write a registration code directly here.
You have to manually merge them into your registory.
But moderator might want to stop me so I'll wait for a few days.

Don't worry, the reg hack has been used as an 'accepted' way to get gmax working for those that have had registration problems in the past. Obviously they'd rather it wasn't done, but they do know people do it.

It was pretty good for low poly stuff, which what it was it's targeted use. Got a bit clunky with highpoly stuff though.. But it was a great introduction to the Max workflow.
