Windows XP 64bit - Worth it?

Post by DiscoDave »

So i've recently got a A64 setup and wondering if crossing over to winxp 64bit is worth it.

I can get it free through my uni so cost isn't a problem. Just wondering if its worth the hassle of formatting and installing and compatibility with my current software and games.

Thanks

I'm going to wait until Vista comes out and upgrade to that. Right now I don't think there are really any good incentives to upgrade to XP-64.

That being said, if I could get it for free, I would probably go ahead and upgrade for the hell of it. :p

exactly. my brother's got it, but went back. drivers are almost non-existant even for popular hardware.
