I hated it. I'm glad it's gone.

I hated it too. I used a direct link to GD, though, so I never saw it unless I manually typed quake3world.com/forums.

I loved it. You had a link to all your favorite forums right at the top at all times. Back to the GD topic list? One click. To any other forum? One click. Don't even have to scroll. It's great for lazy people like me.

Would I have to go to your site instead of here to use it?

the framed bit is at chillidonut.com/quake3world, so yes you'll have to go there to view the top bar (unless turbie or raw want to move it over to the q3w server  )

heh, just start browsing q3w at chillidonut.com/quake3world and the navbar will be there and will remember all your preferences and whatnot across your sessions. you can set your preferences by clicking the little µ icon on the right side of the bar.

Likewise - cheers glossy

So, is the forum on your site a link or a copy? If it's this place in a frame with the nav bar I'm using it until you give it to Turbah to implement here :icon25:

Edit - let us know if we drain all your bandwidth so we can stop use. You may have opened a large can of worms for yourself...

hah, i have plenty of bandwith so no worries there, and the forum on the site is this place in a frame so it's exactly the same, plus the navbar. cool stuff :)
