I haven't checked out Depeche Mode yet. I get the impression that they're supposed to be New Wave, which I can only stand for a short while.
What kinda sound do they have?

its like synth pop minus the 80's.
anybody into darkwave, EBM or industrial will probably really enjoy the new album.
It sounds abit like the latest Front 242 mixed with some old NIN, and abit of tears for fears thrown in.

they used to be kinda poppy, now they seem spacios, grand and darker
theyre good

Depeche Mode is my favourite group :icon25:
I have yet to check out their new album. IMO Violator is the best album of theirs.
