trying to get in_yawspeed to work...

so when in scoped mode (leftMouse) it will lower my sensitivity, But it seems to have no effect. anyone gotten this to work, and whats a good value to set it as. thanks to anyone who can help.

Yawspeed/pitchspeed is for joystick/keyboard look speed.

meh, thanks anyway. I tried that but, Im not really diggin the multiple button presses and how the fov becomes toggled. I guess Ill just live with it, maybe it'll get fixed in a patch.

In UT, you have dodge jumping. In UT2004 this manifests itself as a quick way to move around the map. To do it, you have to turn sharply to one side, then hammer the strafe key twice in the direction that you're going. Immediately after that, you need to hit the jump key.

So yeah... Quake has strafe jumping which is 2 direction keys + jump key plus small mouse movement. UT has dodge jumping which is 2 direction keys + jump key plus large mouse movement.

It's just a part of action FPS games now.

Hey is there a way to use the yaw command as an alternative to mouse accel? Or would it totally ruin your mouse view. Im used to a low sensitivity and being able to twitch around with mouse accel. Dammit id whyd you let me get used to that then take it away!!??
