Improved performance. (q4 can be tweaked to look like q3 and the netcode should be similar, so why 1000 less fps?)
Sensitivity lowered on zoom.
Team overlays in CTF/TDM.
Network
Improved netcode. (rails are lagging at low ping)
truelightning for lg (q3 style)

Rewind function on demos.

Note: I will not be adding requests to change core gameplay, such as movement, weapon reload times and damage, etc.

Once again GTV is a mod (albeit server-side) and if they decide to release a q4 version you will see it.
Also, even if you had a custom model with a brightskin it won't work on 99.9% of the q4 servers because they are run under 'pure' mode, meaning any custom files will be treated as illegal and you will be booted from the server. This is done so to combat custom cheats such as radars or see-through textures and such.

But in all reality, this isent things that are.. uhh, how you say.. important?
these are things that are little nit picking items that dont really mean much at all.
Everything you posted can EASLY be done with a little work on you're side, But yet you choose to make a thread here and see if the developer will do it for you?

http://www.quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12353 :
http://www.quake3world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12497 :
So, watching a demo changes your settings (not sure which, but player name is one of them - and after watching 1 demo and trying to connect to a server it said PB was not enabled, which I'm positive I'd done that), you can't see the score, and you can't watch a demo with your own settings (if a player recorded without showgun, you can't see the gun no matter what). I've also seen demos without crosshair or with no HUD at all.
I noticed that some demos change my default settings (as in autoexec.cfg).
In some demos, the chats are no longer visible, neither are the HUD and the crosshair - even the "following player XXX" was gone. All demos after that one (in the same session) were the same way.
To check if it really changed my overall settings I created a local server and all seemed fine (HUD, chats, crosshair).
But now my name had changed into the name of the player I viewed in the last netdemo...

Has anyone noticed the same thing?
And is there a way to prevent this from happening (I'd like to watch netdemos with my own settings, if possible).

while watching a tourney match weather its online or a demo, you can't tell the score of who is winning.

These bugs make it very hard to make a decent Q4 movie.
As Wussie says in his Quake 4 Moviemaking Tutorial http://www.own-age.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=39202 there is more going on.
While avidemo'ing a netdemo, Explosions / Nailgun impacts / particle effects dont show up.
Timescale is off too (this is very different then Q3's cl_avidemo command, where the game renders the exact amount of screenshots per second as specified).
To summarize Wussie's findings:
Check the movie he made to see his results after capturing for a lot of hours... it's too much hassle as it is now...

There is a lot of sloppy things going on with demos and making avidemos of them :/Explosions / Nailgun impacts / particle effects dont show up.
Another major flaw is that the 'renderdemos' you create, sometimes randomly speed up / speed down when you're playing them back and even when you're avidemo-ing them.
You don't have a reliable speed, so it's pretty much impossible to have a few clips playing back at the exact same speed.
A third big flaw is that some demos just don't play back correctly at all, movement is weird, the player seems to be skipping through the maps, getting stuck into walls, kindof like playing with ping 400.
Even though netdemos seem reliable, theres still a big bug I've encountered, EVEN in Netdemos, weapons don't show up on playback if you recorded the demo with ui_showgun 0. (this means you can never show a gun after you recorded a demo with ui_gun "0")
Playback your freshly recorded demo by typing: playdemo "avicapture_01", and see if the playback speed is too slow/normal/too fast. And change your com_avidemotics accordingly. (makes no sense either, this should be on the spot instead of tweaking it manually and guessing what is normal speed)
Check the movie he made to see his results after capturing for a lot of hours... it's too much hassle as it is now...
1.Female skin
Q2 had them it won't be the same with out it.
2.More MP maps made by id or raven.
I know we are gonna get loads from other mappers.
3.Fix the hud so we can see the score in demos like in q3, maybe a stats bind and place the chat at top.
4. Able to use some tweaks in multiplayer like mouseaccel, displayrefresh, all the bob cmds and maybe make the console drop down instead of adding it to the quake4.exe shortcut.
RL is fine after playing the game for a while at frist it seem slow but not any more.
