Lost Coast is out

Post by Mogul »

The HL2 HDR demo is out. I've seen it all now, and I have to say I came away very impressed. I was surprised that it ran very, very well (better than the actual game, really) and looked beautiful. As you might've guessed, the cathedral is pretty stunning.

6800 gt oc. But still, the FEAR demo, at least the little bit that I played of it, destroyed my system. This didn't surprisingly. I figured the huge outdoor areas with beautiful lighting and stuff would hurt.

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

64bit won't be mainstream for a while yet, well, until windows Vista comes out. I kept telling everyone this when they first came out and people were still rushing to get a 64bit 3200+ to replace their XP 3200+. Yes the 64bit is better in 32bit mode and all, but at that point it wasn't worth it.

Wonder how long it will take to have dual core and 64bit CPU compatible games...

Well aparrently FEAR is dual core aware. But they just mashed in a 64bit patch for far cry, which doesn't improve perofrmance at all, and im some scinarios, you get less FPS. But i think they improved some image quality for it in the patch. Nothing too massive though

For all you dumb people who are unemployed with nothing better to do but sit at home, change diapers and wash dishes....I'm at work.

I was hoping for a general download link that wasn't Steam centric.

Fagg0ts.
