Cant Start Q3 server

OK now im avin trouble setting up a server

how the hell do i get a server workin online from my PC?
I tried the stuff tht q3world and qplanet showed me but no luk :S

Q3>> Multiplayer>>Create>>Select map>>Settings

Dedicted: Internet
Pure: On

As I cliks on fight all i see is the console box then as i starts q3 again to lk for the server as the console is runnin i cant find it

am i doing it rite?

after you have set up the dedicated server open up a new instance of q3 and bring the console down with ~. Now type "/connect [yourip]" and press enter.

do as survivor say's but instead of adding the ip try
/connect localhost

.aas are bot files ..the map maker did not include the .aas
you may be loading a map not intended for ctf ..the map maker must include those items in his map.

you may have a corrupted wipeout.pk3,redownload and place in the baseq3 folder where pak0.pk3 to pak8.pk3 are

LOL the wipeout map is the map im makin

i didnt add the aas. files cos im havent fully completed the map

the map maker im using is GTK Radient

and i left the pk3 file in the baseq3 folder

ah dont worry got my prob sorted now lol
thx for helpin me out anyways

wht i had to do was "/connect [yourip]"

4 sum reason the localhost didnt work :/
