q4 dont see internet (dont browse games and dont direct ip)

thats it. when i join multiplayer and try browse for games, he try to scan sometime and stop with 0 results. when i try to join a game created by someone, q4 say me i dont have some files needed to play on that server (my friend´s listen server, with exactly the same q4 files than me). im using a nocd file.

when i try to join game via direct ip, quake4 says my ip is 10.0.0.3 , but i have no idea why he see it as my ip. when i take a look at ipconfig, on cmd, i get this:

its on portugues, but i think its not hard to understand. dunno why quake (and only quake) understand that 10.1.1.3 (i dont know from where on hell come that number, coz the ip from these conections are all auto, and that number never changes, aways 10.0.0.3). but anyway, all others games watch the internet and i can play them on it. need i do what to play q4?

my thoughts exactlly ditch the no cd and run it legitimatlly , if the game was made for no cd then it would have been created that way , on a side note i hope u get shafted with punkbuster and cant play at all when u run crap ass patches / hacks .

Ex-28, that was a very dark responce, I for one.. got the game as soon as it came out, ( litterly, when the store opened )

and i for one am running a No-Cd patch.
I see the point of such a thing, but its more of an annoyence really.

indeed same here.

The pb guys don't mind them. but the no-cds sometimes produce errors that make the software think it's a cheat hack, and so a server admin might make the decision to ban a player for it.

But I do hope they remove it legitimatly with a future patch. But it may be a while from now as the newness needs to wear off.
