Can radio frequency be used to transmit/send/receive quake3 data?

With ecc I mean to bypass the net???

we use radio lans at work and i've played quake with it.

:drool: We can continue this discussion in the quake3world forums, but I'm not sure if this is the proper place to discuss these discussions...


I noticed in the link that they mentioned the (UWB). Has the FCC fully approved this as of yet? Last I read they had tentatively approved the Ultra Wideband. And that was several years ago.

Is it possible to setup a broadband radio WAN? I'm thinking that if people can talk wirelessly over thousands of miles, that computers can also. :)
