WTF
Please help me out you guys. I dont know if it's threw the game or what. when i click multyplayer it just freezes.

Aye. This usually happens because the game tries to go online, and your firewall pops up a message asking for permission for it... but Quake won't let you back to the desktop.
At the main menu, bring down the console with the key below ESC. In the console, enter:
\r_fullscreen 0
\vid_restart
Then the game will load into a window. NOW click on the multiplayer button and you should be able to clear the firewall warning when it pops up. Be sure to create a firewall rule, so you dont have to do this again.
Once that's done, back to the console:
\r_fullscreen 1
\vid_restart
Job done
