Quake Ports?

Post by Phoen!X »

Whenever I make a server, nobody can connect to it but me', that's because I'm behind a router... There's a way to change it so other people CAN connect to it, but I forgot the quake ports used to do that... Can anybody help me out with this?

Huh? I remember using 2 ports... Did I do it wrong in the past or did you miss one port out?
Can someone explain it to me?

Why 27950? The default Q3A port is 27960 while PB uses 24305 and 24349 (for servers, that is).

I did what Tormentius said and it works out great, so I'm going keep it like that... But thanks for all of your great help. :icon25:

If I get any more problems like this I'll post them. :icon26:
