It snowed here for the first time two days ago. Its wan't normal snow though, it was snow with rain, but the snow was able to stay on the roads, before they cleaned it up in my neighborhood I went for some fwd drifting... which scared the fuck out of me because I didn't install my winter tires yet and the road surface was something like slush with ice underneath it, so when I attempted to turn going faster than 10km/h my car just continued on going straight. Oh and I hit someones lawn with my rear wheels during a "drift" :/ Gotta wait till real winter snow comes, soft, white, and that actually gives me a bit of grip.

just a skiff where I'm at but the sky dumped 38" on Mon. at Copper Mountain--that mystical place for which I happen to hold a shiny season pass. I'm stroking it under my desk as I type this.

That's always fun. The handbrake was loose enough in my Probe that I could even 'drift' after a heavy rain.

My Probe also did that. Fucking hated having to do it. My problem was that my gf's cunty brother left the windows down during a downpour and there was water in the carpet ever since.

Hahaha, must be a Ford thing, mine's a Focus, you don't ahve to leave the window open to have a nice puddle of water in the passenger footwell, you just have to park it at the right angle. I was scooping water out using a bottle only about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I am so happy that I live withing bussing range (15 minutes) of the nearest hill, the next one is miles and miles and miles off.

It is about, I woul say 400 meeter high?
Not bad, but I dont use the skee lift, last time I tried it with my snowboard, I made an ass of my self. And ended walking up the lift path.

So I allways walk up the hill, 30 seconds to get down, 4 minutes to get up. Good workout, and it keeps me in shape for Mountain Biking season.

yay, we got our first snow a few days ago :| The roads weren't too bad but I'm not a real experienced winter driver, so we'll see what's in store for me.

Yea, lived in Iowa all my life and never really had to drive in the snow. I suck.

It's cold as hell here right now.
what lies beyond...

Sunny climate is alrite, but a balance between the 2 is best.

Constant exposure to bright sunlight is just gonna mean more skin cancer down the line. Plus cold weather causes people to lose weight.

suppose if you're out in it all day. most people work indoors. p.s. fat people can piss off. i've NEVER heard that fatties lose weight during the winter months. the exact opposite actually.
