(btw... I don't know if you were talking specifically about A4's. I've got a TT)
Nice girl's car you got there (I know, I know...the Eclipse isn't exactly masculine either). I wouldn't mind owning an A4/6 but I'm shooting for a BMW as my first high-end car.
I never really thought of TTs as being girlish, but maybe that means my tastes are just too feminine. :icon32:
At least it's not the roadster version -- that would seem pretty girly to me.
I like BMWs too, but I tend to be a fan of cars that are a bit "different" so I'd probably take a z4 if I could. Any BMW would suit me fine, though.

The Z4 is hot. Given that I score a salary job this summer I plan on getting an E46 M3 by the summer of 2007 (gotta pay off this damn car first).
let's just say that I don't spend much time looking for videos of people driving cars on the internets
that wasn't a put down, mind you. if we had excellent public transportation like alot of europe does, i would most certainly be using it more often than driving.

of course, it will never be calculated that way
the torque numbers are even if not more than what the horsypower is at...that is where the extra size makes the difference
The peak torque of that 1.8L is 178lb-ft, therefore the 4.6L would have to make 455lb-ft of peak torque. Considering that it would rev to like 8500rpm, that is more than enough torque.
