Just wondering what this richly diverse and intelligent crowd does outside of here, net wise. :D

I'm also bitWISE over at club3g. It's probably the best third-generation Eclipse site/community. Whenever I'm going through I Diablo 2 addiction I post at battleforums but that has been pretty rare lately.

I thought you gave up on them, on account of them being a bunch of idiots.

I just stopped getting into actual discussions. It's still a great technical resource as well as an entertaining OT forum that I can access from work. They tend to post good porn as well

I just used plain old free stuff for it, and it's not beefed up security wise so anyone could hack it up if they wanted (please dont). Also How do I change the top left to not say 'logo here'...i want it to say something else

The game has been in the works for a year now, and they have not dune much, except conceptualize and artwork.

I am, we all are, hopping that they are first waiting to get out their God's and Heroes game out first and then totally concentrate on STO.

Well maybe they're really planning everything so it doesn't turn out to be a SW galaxies scale disaster. BTW is it just starship stuff or is there adventuring stuff too?

Well I don't need a forum at all. I simply did it because it was fun. I damn near trumped UBB with a weeks work but I got bored before I finished:
http://www.perfunction.com/forum

All I have to do is take the database schema and stylesheets I created and recode the back-end with asp.net and I have an instant A+ final project.

I do, however, read the SA forums like a fiend.

It does not only take place on ships, you have boarding parties and all that. But you also go to planets and bases, and they are a huge part of the game. So the ship part is only a smal fraction, they are trying to get everything they can in to it.
