Two quick questions!

EDIT: My whole post was about getting "high" r_speeds of 12,000. Basically, I somehow forgot that we're in 2005 now, and so 4000-12,000 isn't a bad range to be in :P.

It describes how to guage your map's performance and also has a link to the debug HUD that shows some nifty info.
