I've used Nimos and KL Codec packs, but I'm looking for one that's cutting edge. Neither seem to have been developed in a good long time.
Anyone got any recommendations?
What's the best codec pack nowadays?

The site struck me as dodgy. And even then, when I looked at the bottom on that download it says 'Several virus scanners - like AVG - are reporting that Codec Pack All in 1 contains a trojan. This is a FALSE POSITIVE!"
So I'm not comfortable downloading their pack.
Thanks for the suggestion tho.

That's the official site of the k-lite codecs. The k-lite mega codec pack is just pure sex. It's updated very frequently.

nps. Don't forget to check in here, and grab windows media lite. It works very well in firefox.

EDIT: well, that's for those that strip their system of wmp. I had to use this package since I stripped xp of it.

The only thing missing I suppose is the divx6 decoder. I dunno why they don't add it to the mega package. Maybe the don't want the divx people sending them angry emails. I doubt anyone is going to use version 6 for anything worthwhile, when there are so many great altearnatives like xvid, so I could care less.
