Tell us precisely why. Let's hear a coherent argument, with supporting data.

Oh, this ought to be good.

Can you name an american car that has 100HP/L or more from a N/A V8? Didn't think so.

Inside every Z06 is an LS7 aluminum–block V8. It puts out a SAE-certified (Society of Automotive Engineers) 505 hp and 470 lb.–ft. of torque. Hand–built by the GM Performance Build Center in Wixom, Mich., the LS7 engine contains a litany of racing–derived components, such as an eight–quart dry–sump lubrication system, titanium valves and connecting rods, forged–steel crankshaft with six–bolt main bearings, high–profile cam, and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machined heads for better air/fuel flow. Even with its performance, the engine does not incur a federal government gas–guzzler penalty.

Idiots need 7 liters to make 505hp :olo:

The BMW V10 makes 507hp from a 5.0L

Of course, it doesn't have displacement to make a lot of torque, not that it matters one bit since it makes so much horsepower. Btw, considering its a 4.2L, its still makes a LOT more torque per liter than a 2005 Mustang GT with a 4.6L, even though its tuned for horsepower.

horsepower is how fast you go
torque is how far you take the wall with you

You could also buy four Mustangs for the price of a RS4. It's an impressive engine but we are hardly behind the times. We're just stuck on brand names and the demand for US built, high-end performance just isn't there IMO.

That would be my choice. Of course the torque king right now is the SL65 AMG and AMG is making a new 6.3 L V8, N/A with 503 bhp and 4 valves a cylinder. They are making two turbocharged versions of this engine with an increase to 6.8 L, still keeping the 7,200 redline, the higher turbocharged version will have 697 bhp and 886 lb-ft torque.

Idiots, eh? That's a rather insightful commentary, especially coming from someone like you that thinks posting a few numbers completely encapsulates automotive design.
Can you do anything besides post hp and torque numbers? Got any idea why a Z06 would blow the balls off that pretty little Audi?

Hey, I'm not a car superexpert (Netherlands is not a serious car maker), but I thought the American Ford GT has a 100bhp/liter engine.

http://www.fordvehicles.com/fordgt/features.asp

550bhp from a 5.4 liter engine

The price is kinda steep - $130,000

Any comments?

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

So what? I specified that the Audi has a N/A engine you retard. Forced induction is a completely different category. I also never said that the RS4 is the fastest car in the world, I was only admiring the engine. You're really dumb, even for a lame goth. Just stay away from me.
