Cellphones Again

Post by SOAPboy »

Looking for a phone again.. V180 sucks..

Looking at a Rokr right now.. MP3, expandable mem, camera..

Can be had around 150 bucks on ebay..

Anything else around that price, That has a camera, and FULL mp3 support for ringtones, with expandable mem?

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

This is the kind of feedback im looking for..

Now suggest something better :)

I dont really care if its an MP3 player, but it HAS to support FULL mp3 tracks as ringtones.. hell my fucking ngage can do it, and its old as the hills.. and it HAS to have MMC or SD expansion support.. theres no way 3megs internal is good enough..

Either get the Sony k700i or the k750i. The main benefit the 750 has is that it will accept expansion sticks. I absolutely love my 700 but with only 64mb (not sure on this number) it doesn't make for a very good mp3 player. However, it does have an FM tuner with pretty good reception.

And it supports (fully) mp3s as ringtones?

So it "supports" playback then.. hm.. :paranoid:

Would still like more options.. :p

Im surfing that site.. seems they only review most of the "OMGWTF" high end stuff tho.. theres a neat panasonic phone i was looking at they spoke kinda highly of.. shame i cant figure out if its MP3 ringtone or not..

Your phone won't ring for 4 minutes

Besides, not only is a 4mb file for a ringtone a ridiculous waste of space, there a very few songs that will actually kick off into tune until after a minute.

I don't see why full length mp3 ringtone support is so mandatory when it's useless..
A) im lazy
B) my fucking ngage does it
C) any phone should anymore

W800 is well over 200 bucks.. kinda limiting myself here i know, but yeah, i dont need a 400$ phone :-|

Think i might just cave and get another motorola... looking at the v620 (uk version of the v600, just all black and shiney instead of ugly gray) and i might just go ahead with it.. sadly, no expansion, and only 5 megs.. but, i think itll tide me over until i feel like going nuts on a phone..

I use entire songs as ringtones so yes. I'm using Coheed and Cambria's Welcome Home and it makes an excellent ringer.

The sound recorder has pretty good quality and it can be used to make ringtones as well. My buddy made his own ringtone doing an impression of Homestar.

I suggest you pay a visit to a Rogers or Telus and all those wireless providers stores and compare on their phones and plans of services they have. this is the special time of the year to get really good deals just for Christmas, they are at war to get the most customers and they can provide you with high end cellphone for less than half the retail price when subscribing to one of their plans. P.S. Just take the time to read the fine prints on their contract, don't trust the salesman.
