Gay wedding show!

Post by DRuM »

My band is doing a *cringe* gay wedding show in brighton on sunday :icon26: . Got this email from the organiser via my bandleader. Needless to say, once the gig is done, I ain't sticking around for the party. I'm getting the fuck out of there! Should be a fun gig though.

Subject: FW: GNY Party - Brighton 4th December

Anybody interested?! Please let me know before deadline

Julian

Hi

Hope you are well.

We are doing the closing list for the gay new year party to be held after the show in Brighton to celebrate the new laws coming in to effect at midnight.

I need to know by Wednesday 12pm if you will be attending, we have 2 free tickets for each exhibitor - additional tickets are £10 per person.

Please note that we will also have press and film crews at this party.

If we do not hear from you by 12pm tomorrow we will remove your name from the list.

All the best

Ben Spence

Of course! And the reason I'm not sticking around for the party is because I'll be leaving to go on my honeymoon.

Don't lie drum. Your nose is big enough already haha

And you know what they say about big noses..... (this is what the gay people will think when they undress you with their eyes)

Have fun

lol

DuMB seems to think that if he talks to gay people he might catch the urge to suck a cock....cause he's positive that shit is airborne. :olo:

The ironic thing is that he probably supports gay marriage on a moral standing but would rather cover his ass with a garbage can lid if he thought some guy was looking at it. :olo:

what new laws?
The Civil Partnership Act 2004 will come into force on the 5th December 2005 and will allow same sex couples throughout the UK to register their partnerships.

Civil Partnership is not exactly the same as marriage but will give the same legal benefits as marriage. The benefits of registration will include:

equal treatment for tax purposes, including inheritance tax
recognition for immigration purposes
rights to survivor’s pension
next of kin rights
exemption from testifying against each other in court
court administered dissolution process
domestic violence protection
automatic revocation of will on registration of partnership
on intestacy surviving partner automatically inherits their partners property
maintenance on dissolution

Oh the irony of me posting this is astounding.

That's right, I've got nothing against gay marriage. I just don't fancy being around dozens of gay men inspired by the wedding looking for love.
