I'm curious about what people pay on the street for painkillers. I've asked this before about vicodin, but I've been finding that a number of kids at the school are preferring oxycodone (percocet). I've had kids go through rehab for that one. Is it cheap compared to marijuana to buy that stuff on the streets? I just wonder how they afford the habit, and how they have such a steady supply to get addicted in the first place...
I've got a bottle of 180 oxycodones, 15mg each. If they are worth that much, maybe I'll ebay them. Kidding. Who was that kid that used to post here that loved his painkillers and posted pics of his little drug stash...? Can't remember his name...had an icon with some doof with a helmet on...
It's been a long time since I've even SEEN any pills for sale. But I'm thinking like anywhere from 2 to10 bucks a piece? Ecstasy and such are a lot more expensive, but just painkillers can be anywhere from dirt cheap to nearly ecstasy prices. It depends on who has a connection, how much they pay for them, and how much profit they make when they sell them.
Some people have such a pharmacy of medicines that they will practically give them away to whoever wants, and those people just sell them to all their friends to party and make extra money.

Ritalin is what most of the kids here are getting into these days, about AUD$10 a pill (from the source, it usually gets resold for a couple of bucks more)
around here hydrocodone, oxycontin, soma are all ~$5 per pill.
considering you have to pop 2 to get high, thats $10 per ride... i think weed is still cheaper. $50 1/8th for kind, and you can get high off that more than 10 times.

If you have to pop two 15 mg oxycodones to get high, you've built up quite a tolerance.
well... you usually don't get the big doses on the street.
generally the 7.5's will be $5 and the 15mg pills anywhere from 10-20 (since they're harder to get)
i had to have back surgury to get those legally.
why would american kids need painkillers? aren't almost all of them already whacked out on federally-endorsed psychotropics?
what rook described sounds a lot like the situation over here. there are rarely fixed prices for anything (unless you go somewhere with a lot of smackheads), it just changes based on availability.
