remember the part where they have 2 jugs and have to weigh it to exactly like 10 gallons and place it on the mat before the bomb goes off ?

can someone post that ? i remember watching it when i was younger and not getting it

They have a 3 and a 5 gallon jug, and they ned 4

pour the 5 into the 3, pour the 3 out, pour the two left into the 3, fill the 5 up again, pour the 5 into the 3, voila 4 left

theres also another solution, I forget it now, but i thought of it when i watched the movie, so i guess theres 2 ways, mabye more

Fill up the 5g with the 3g, so you’ll need 2X3 g but you’ll have1g left in the 3g, save the remaining of the 3g, empty the 5g, then empty the remaining of the 3g in the 5g and then a whole 3g again in it. Bingo

I don’t know if that was the one in the movie but since you said there might be another way, I just tried to figure it out and this way seems to work too.
Btw I was in Langton Ont. for the tobacco crops in 76, do you live far from that place?
