I crash whenever I get to the Recomposition Center map in SP. Whether I try to load the map from the console or I get to it in the SP game I get a crash to the console. Here is the last part of the console information with the errors:

This is weird because it seems to indicate a problem with weapons and with this not being a custom map, everything should be there.
I have tried reinstalling and also manually copying the pak002.pk4 file from the CD, but no go. I extracted the map and loaded it in the editor and it loaded there OK.
I am stumped. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Any custom maps in your q4base folder? Move them in a different folder (q4base\new folder\) to be sure they aren't loaded and then try again. I had a trick map in q4base that disabled splash damage and selfdamage and i was wondering why my rockets and grenades didn't kill monsters in SP, until i realized it was that map. :icon32:
I hope you can fix this. Games that are crashing at the same point every time for totally unclear reasons, that's so frustrating.
Btw those spawnfunc errors remind me of the errors i got while trying to play a netdemo (cooller vs hunter). I couldn't run it until i removed almost all maps out of q4base. It might have had something to do with the tmp02 pack but i need to test it more.

I discovered that my reinstall was not clean. Several mod folders/files were left in the q4base directory when I uninstalled. I uninstalled again and deleted the Id folder and the reinstall solved the problem. Of course, I still don't know exactly what caused the problem.
Thanks for the help folks.
