Linux does have a fair amount of vulnerabilities which are regularly discovered. Securing a *nix machine is just as much of a time consuming process as securing an MS machine and updating is just as critical.^misantropia^ wrote:Stop spouting FUD. Edit: Granted there are a few really stable distros (like the one you linked to) which are pretty damned secure out of the box.

Below are a couple of links for yer reading pleasure, all found on stable builds. Not all are debian specific, not all are recent but the point is, there's been zero vulnerabillities found in out of the box openbsd builds over the past 8 (did I say 3?) years.
