I know I need one.
After being stranded when thouse 2 tires blew was proof enough.
but I just dont want people to think I can be gottten ahold of 24/7.
I dont even answer my house phone...I screen all calls and call you back. My good friends know to email me, or post here :P

I don't see why people think that having a cellphone means that they'll be dragged in to talking on it all the time, never getting away from work, etc. You can turn them off, or just not answer.
I haven't had a landline in over a year, and I haven't missed it at all. It's $30 a month I'm not wasting anymore.

I dunno... The dissembodied voice mehbee... but I think its mostly the conversation aspect of it. A phone to me is:
A. Hi
B Hi
A lets meet here
B ok.

My GF says I'm like the guy in Lost Highway when he says "
I hate video cameras, I prefer to remember things the way I remember them, not the way they happened"
I guess I prefer a reference point in my coinversations; which is the persons face. To remind me why Im talking.
