if this mod keeps going the way it looks to, it will single handedly breathe life into quake 4...I swear!
this is a beta I know but ill be fucked if Im not having more fun than I thought possible playing this game!
it needs alot of fixes, but for the first time I can actually see myself getting into quake again.

no, they complain about mods that change too much (ie. not merely a vanilla Q4 enhancement) being the comprehensive competition mod throughout leagues and tournaments.TTK-Bandit wrote::icon27:

Many of us were used to the Quake1 "slippage" but many others wanted that newfangled client prediction stuff. The iD people were stunned that people were actually preferring internet play vs network play and thus iD created Quakeworld.

Q4W
Don't you think, that Q4W is toooooooo fast?
I have jumped around some maps and if u get some speed u jump over the map imo EXTREMELY fast. It is almost like in PK.
But I really like aircontrol in this game and hud works - with awaiting simple items and more, Q4W could be another great mod.

The air control takes a bit of getting used to and is still screwing up my movement but it's not too bad. Maybe they could tone it down a touch in the next beta though. 1) The nailgun has been slowed down too much, to the point of becoming useless.
2) The railgun has had reload times AND damage reduced. IMO they should just leave the reload time alone and reduce only the damage if they want to tone the rail down a little.

The RL is a tad too fast for my taste. I don't really like the Q1/QW rocket speed.
