q3w!

Post by TruthfulLiar »

Hey is anwulf ever around?

Who else is?

Old names, old faces. :clownboat:

Let me know...

What? One, two, years? pff.

Oh yeah, I've been; India, Hong Kong, Bali, North and South island NZ, Australia (sydney and gold coast), San Francisco, Miami, Washington DC, Holland, Sweden, Zurich (that's switzerland, alp land you know, they're very big there... plus good chocolate [which is true]), Paris and London!

Now I'm back in america... got an internship at an architecture firm. Interesting stuff.

I can't seem to log in to my old account anymore, and I can't get a new password via email. Is there anything else that can be done? I think I almost prefer this name so it wouldn't matter much, unless I could do some sort of transfer thing...

Also, does q4 seem to be worth mapping for? I gave it a try, seemed buggy but that is the way with things in the beginning. apart from that, I think it has great potential... but before I get into that, I should finish a couple abandoned q3 maps before this summer.

Hellos to all the familiar faces. :icon32:

Hi, TruthfulLiar! Nice to see another familiar name again :).

It seems you had some good times and I'm eager to see your upcoming works (you know where to find me if you need some help ;)).

Still here. Don't post much though. Might get involved a bit more when the M-C closes.

Unfortunately, I won't be getting hold of a copy of Q4 for a while, so I can't participate in the Q4 thing. No one seems to be doing much Q3 mapping at the moment, although Myth's just released Citadel Fantasia.

Nice to see you, TL. You've been a busy jetsetter. :)

All right, so there suddenly seem to be a few people doing that after a recent drought.

Does this mean you're doing some mapping for Q3, Fjoggs? (I have the feeling that you've showed off a few screenies of this and that, but haven't produced the goods so far.)

Do these look, ahem, familiar? :)

Hehe, me and Black_Dog is making a CTF map as we speak. Aussie mixed with viking is bound to be good eh? :p

And those, hehe. I think I'll finish that map after this one, because I really liked making that one. :]

Hello there Anwulf, long time no see indeed. Shame about that, if you get the opportunity in the future would you want to join in? I think Q3 mapping has still continued a good bit, or has it recently tuned down after the arrival of Q4? Correct me if I forgot, were/are you still in China, was it?

Todtsteltzer! How's it going man? Thanks for the offer, I'll take you up on it sometime soon. Maybe to wrap up that pink map? :icon27:

So, krekits, wviper, pjw!, skinncn, hipshot (swede!), aeon, rgoer and apparently cardigan (and sock?) are still here?
What's ydnar up to (haven't been to splash in ages, and shaderlab seems to be gone)?

Interesting times.

I did see a copy of Q4 in town just the other day, but when you're paying Y70 (about US$9), you know it's pirated. It'll have to wait until I go to Hong Kong during the winter holiday.

I'm not sure about editing for Q4, though. I haven't bothered messing around with D3. In fact, I don't even have gtk installed at the moment. I might have a look, but out of curiosity.

Yeah, I'm still in China.

Everything's fine so far. At least I had some spare money to buy me a new rig and I hope to get broadband in the first weeks of 2006 :).
If you still want to finish "that pink map" we may give it another try but everything else is fine for me, too.

Um... how do I send doomer a pm so I can get my name back... lookin lookin not finding. I changed my email address after being gone for quite a while, and forgot my password when I came back. Changed the password and it sent the new password to my old email address which has been closed for years... So I'm this name....such fun =o

Sending Doomer a pm is probably quicker, but you can also put a request for reactivation in this thread in GD: Account Merging/Switching/etc Requests...

Click on the inbox button at the top of the page, next to profile (may say 'no new messages' or whatever). Click on the new topic button.

When you write a new PM, you just type in the name of the person you want to contact. There is also a button that allows you to find a user name. So type in doomer and it will find "DooMer". Select it, type your message, send. It's foolproof.

Wow, very nice photography it looks like, could we see these at bigger size? I take some interest in photography and I'd like to see the actual gallery.
