Course, if you're lucky enough not to have been too tightly cut, you can always restore naturally with stretching.

"There is now conclusive medical evidence that a circumcised penis with the glans exposed has less nerve receptors and is less effective than a naturally covered penis."
They're joking, right? This has to be a joke.
It has one function, and both are equally effective in that. (Slapping you.)

So... Who Wants Smasht?

Hmm, interesting. Although I think I would rather stick to the orgasms I know than go through all that hassle for what may not even be that great of an improvement.
Stretching? Got any info on that or is it as painful as I'm imagining?

more like fascination with the practice of male (and female) circumcision.Ryoki wrote:Julios, pray tell, where does your fascination with foreskin come from?
Well stumbled across the information, and experienced a shift of consciousness. Had never before questioned the practice, because it was so normative. And the fact that I am circumcised is a factor in my interest.
Once the blindspot was removed, developed an interest in learning more about it, partially for my own education, and partially so i could responsibly educate others.
It's really fascinating because it's a practice that so many "civilized" people in western society partake in, and there is so much systemic ignorance about it.
If people (including most doctors) actually knew about the foreskin, and still condoned the practice, I'd have less issue with it. Unfortunately, most medical education just treats it as a piece of skin, which is funny since the actual medical literature says the exact opposite.
I also find interesting that most people who condone male circumcision condemn female circumcision.
Here's a topic i created at truthmapping (I'm spacediver):

for many, probably yes.Foo wrote:So does getting teh snip then wanting it back result in resentment towards your parents or birth religion?
Morbidly curious.
I know my parents did it with loving intentions, so i don't hate them for it. What is frustrating is them refusing to consider the evidence critically. Then again, I've never met a parent who has changed their minds about circumcising their sons (though i've heard of them).

yea but this would be an "endogenously induced" form of desensitization.Canis wrote:I wonder if excessive jerking off can cause desensitization. I know it feels fucking great to have sex after giving the left arm a few days' rest.
Sort of how you can endogenously desensitize yourself to pain by meditating, or exogenously desensitive yourself to pain by removing pain receptors.
(not sure if these terms are altogether appropriate for this context, but you get my meaning)
