eh, yeah.
After spending god knows how long to figure out what I want for christmas, I actually decided to be slightly pathetic (no offense xD) this year, and write up some PC hardware on my list.
So, I looked around on the net, and found this.
Anyone got it? Feedback? Nice? Shit?
Also, I'm shit with motherboards, so I'm not really sure if I can use my GeForce 6800GT on it?
Help appreciated.
Last question is, I need a CPU to go with this aswell, any suggestions?

Is your 6800GT AGP? Then no. Need a PCI-Express GPU. You'll be getting an Athlon 64 with it. Just depends on what you want to spend.
Cheapest would be a 3200+ at about 160USD, actually has gone up in price. If you want dual cores, get a 3800+, but that's twice the price. I myself plan on getting a 3700+. It's about 230USD. It's 2.2GHz instead of 2.0 of the 3200+ and has twice the cache. They also seem to overclock a couple hundred MHz more.
I don't know much about Gigabyte motherboards. The general concensus among some of the enthusiast forums I read is not positive, but they're a tough crowd to please with different priorities over you or me.

You might want to consider getting an Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 that combines an AGP and PCI-e slot. I have it and it has good performance and it's stable. It's also fairly popular amongst overclockers. It only has serious issues with the 1T command rate setting for RAM; Q4 runs without problems with it but it causes reboots while doing certain things like pasting something in paint or opening certain flash websites. 2T is standard and performs a bit less but not something to worry about. It's not clear yet whether this problem will or can be fixed by a BIOS or driver update.
