Font Colour for Name

Post by citizen_kane05 »

hey all,

obviously I know how to change the font colour for my username by adding ^1 for red or ^2 for green , etc. in front of it. I also know that by putting ^0 in front of text will make the text black. This only works for me, however, when chatting via the console or the Chat command and I am unable to apply this when editing my name. Every other code works to apply their respective colours, but when I do ^0 the font stays white.

I am just wondering whether I'm doing anything wrong? I am using Q3A Point Release 1.32 on Mac OS X

Can anyone help?

^0 doesnt work with standard q3 names, it only works with mods (osp, cpma) I think.

Correct.

If you want black names under vanilla Q3, you have to use ^^0

(note you will have carot before the black part of your name)
