Gank Mod and Q4 remake of Threewave maps

If anyone is interested, EKM is running a fairly busy Q4CTF server with a competion mod made by Spectra, "Gank mod". The mod includes brightskins, and some other tweaks. The server also has a few remakes of popular Threewave maps, check these screenshots:

I played a few games on there server and the maps seemed to run pretty well, they seem to be made for performance

Its good to see some focus on Q4 CTF, it would be great to see more CTF mods and maps out there

the map is a direct copy of the bsp from q3 and hasnt been upscaled to the new q4 size, you are a giant in the maps.

I don't think i'd want to play these... again.

xs1 is a fun map though and doesn't really get old.

This version could use some polish though (computer screens on tomb stones??).

well I've played the cp14 and a bit of the cp9 one....and it seemed to scale quite well. I didnt feel like a giant in the map when I was playing it.

As far as not wanting to play these maps again, I hear ya, I'm looking forward to more Q4 custom CTF maps myself. I'm rather tired of Q3, but I think its still fun to use Q4 weapons/physics while playing these maps
