A problem with a CF card

I was putting some pics on my CompactFlash card and I had to rewrite some other pics, and windows gave me an error. Now there is one 0kb file that always reappears after I delete it. Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Copy the files you wanna keep somewhere else, reformat the card

Is it a folder or a file?

What's the filename?

You're sure it's not being created by the device it's pluged into (ie: Camera)?

its an option on any device that uses one, not to mention any reader you use...if not a program can do it too

its a file, the filename is whatever i want it to be, and it splugged in to my CF reader.

Might just be an index or a log file...If it's not messing anything up don't worry about it!

Well, you said there was one file that kept reappearing. So, is it the same file or not? If it is, the filename might be important.

I renamed it to "wtf" and removed the extension. Then I deleted it. It reappeared as "wtf" when I opened the folder again. I've formatted the card now so its fine.
