Crashing at start of match?

I've had this happen to me a few times now. I'll have pleasantly waited patiently for my turn to play in a tourney, and then when my match finally starts and the countdown timer hits zero, the whole game crashes. Very annoying because it means I lost my place in "line." It doesn't seem to happen consistently however, and I'm wondering if it could be QMAX? Has anybody else had this happen?

I've had random crashes in Q4 too. One time just after i picked up invis but also at other times when nothing special was happening. One time i also got kicked after playing a number of tourneys with the same guy on a X-Battle server. I don't think that was supposed to happen, lol.

I have been told and it seems to have worked so far, that you shouldnt press anything during the countdown between pre-match, warmup, and so on. Perhaps if the client is sending info to the server when the countdown is finished Q4 in its fragile state craps out?

Either way, try to not touch anything during the countdown, its helped for me. :icon26:
