My question is, should id hire arQon so that we can play a competition mod right out of the box in q5?
q4 really isn't as bad as people have been saying. the unplayable-ness is hopefully fixable, either in an official pr or in what comes out of the q4max team camp. i get ultra pissed at it and haven't played it in a couple weeks but i'm just waiting for a patch. it looks like there is potential there.
q4 is no doubt dead...but i don't know wtf ppl r talking about it being unplayable...seems fine to me as long as i don't jump on some no0b server with a bunch of no0bs...

for starters, mouse polling rate over 125hz = graphical stutter ( cpl blah blah only 125 who cares, i play at 500hz), those with sb live cards getting hideous sound stutter, though i think it's a combo of soundcard and shitty netcode. netcode....sucks, unstable pings, just like q3 in the beginning. no autodl, weaponswitch bug (not sg, 1/6 weaponswitches wont register though that could be just q4max issue).

ramp jumping, new weapon balance, you can throw grenades at jump pads and they bounce, rockets/nades can be fired through portals, some weapon switchings are insanely fast..noobs are more noobish and so on..
