Do you mean "first" as in "before the US"? Because she isn't the first female president in history, of course...
i meant first as in the americas and that it happened in south america before north america, though i had forgotten about there being a female pm in Canada. or maybe there were female pres's in south america prior? don't know...

n00bs. Europe has had female presidents for a while now. (Finland, Latvia)

and africa before that. although they werent as much presidents as they were faraoh's and therefore absolute leaders
