There's some excellent bits in this movie.

transporter 2, 7/10

very silly. lots of punch-ups, daft stunts, blonde lass that spends the whole film running round in her undies :icon14:

good supporting character from the first film reduced to comedy foreigner, but the soundtrack's a lot less painful this time - if you liked the first one, you'll like this one.

King Arthur directors cut

6/10. longer than needed, and im kinda sick of the whole "epic fighting with fancy costumes"-genre.
although it was definateltlitylsit better than say Kingdom of Heaven

Then again you're probably a 12 year old goth ooutcast who dreams of anal sex with Sephiroth everynight while CLoud grants you a reacharound.

LoL I think King Arthur is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I love the samurai/mongul knight with his death hawk. I think the Terminator should have been one of the knights too.

The Fog: 6/10
Generic without any substance. The girl was pretty, though.

screeching :olo:
yeah I read that article in People, too. Also, they apparently spend limitless, exhausting hours training german shepherd attack pigs to maul then rabidly hump would-be car stereo thieves.

Then again you're probably a 12 year old goth outcast who dreams of anal sex with Sephiroth everynight while CLoud grants you a reacharound.

Repulsion - 7/10

Classic Polanski movie from 1965. Very "60's"-ish, plus you can see from where David Cronenberg got a lot of inspiration. Strange film, but it does make sense.

I Heart Huckabees - 7/10

I don't know if I should call this a comedy, sure it's got some comedic points but that's not really the focus of the movie. Excellent example of the "indie aestetic" in everything from the acting and the script to the music and the photo. Seems like it's created solely to win festival prizes. Rather adoreable though.

Hostel: 7/10

I really liked it. Slow to get going but the way it was filmed was quite impressive.

End Of The Spear

pretty predictable, a bit slow in some bits. since the story revolved alot around "natives", it was nice to see some new faces. acting was pretty well done, but the story came off as almost pretentious in the end. worth a rental when it debuts on dvd, but not much more.

6/10
